Job summary

AO.com is seeking an experienced MHE Trainer to join its Crewe logistics operation on a permanent days schedule with 12-hour shifts. You will develop colleagues, improve safety standards and help create high-performing teams across the site.

The role involves delivering engaging training, leading inductions, assessing and certifying colleagues on MHE, and maintaining training records while partnering with HR and Health & Safety teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering practical training and coaching.
• Experience operating MHE in a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Ability to adapt delivery to different learning styles.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging practical and classroom-based training.
• Lead inductions for new starters and agency colleagues.
• Train, assess and re-certify colleagues on MHE equipment.
• Support compliance with health and safety standards across the site.
• Maintain accurate training records and certification data.
• Work closely with Operational, HR and Health & Safety teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve training effectiveness and operational performance.
• Ensure mandatory training is completed across your shift.
