GXO Logistics, Inc. in Banbury is seeking an accredited MHE Instructor to train, test, monitor and mentor colleagues in safe MHE use.

You will create documentation, issue certificates, and report to site admin in a full-time, permanent role with a 15:00–23:00 shift. The role offers a salary up to £29,859.21 per year plus a 7% shift premium, 20 days leave (plus holidays), dental insurance, a company pension, 24/7 GP service, life cover, employee assistance, and GXO University learning

Qualifications

• Current MHE trainer qualification and recent training experience.
• Holder of Counterbalance (minimum), Reach, VNA & PPT licences.
• Strong administration skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver MHE training in line with accrediting body and onsite guidelines.
• Act as ambassador for learning, leading by example while providing training and on-the-job coaching.
• Keep up to date with regulations and legislation relevant to MHE and H&S; ensure practices align with the business.
• Ensure all training is evaluated, recorded and maintained.

Job description

Are you an accredited MHE Instructor? Are you known for being a “people person”? Has your training been recent and ongoing so you can hit the ground running? If so, we want you to join our established MHE team at The Entertainer in Banbury. You’ll instruct, test, monitor, reassess and mentor colleagues in the safe use of MHE, create all associated documentation, issue certificates of qualification and pass details to the site admin team. This is a full‑time, permanent position on a 5‑day‑a‑week, 7‑day shift pattern, with work hours from 15:00 to 23:00.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £29,859.21 per annum, plus an additional 7% shift premium. You’ll also receive 20 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays) and the option to purchase extra days. • Ensure all training is evaluated, recorded and maintained appropriately.

What you need to succeed at GXO

• A current MHE trainer qualification and recent and regular training experience – consideration also given to experienced MHE operators who hold valid licences and wish to undertake a trainer qualification.
• Previous warehouse experience and holder of Counterbalance (minimum), Reach, VNA & PPT licences.
• Flexible approach to meet business needs and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong and accurate administration skills with proficiency in MS Office – Excel and PowerPoint.
