Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join a dedicated team at a vibrant school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for languages, a flair for teaching, and a commitment to helping every student develop their linguistic skills and cultural understanding. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as an MFL Teacher:

1. Teaching [French/Spanish/German – adjust as needed] across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with Key Stage 5 an advantage)
2. Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons that inspire a love of language learning
3. Monitoring student progress and providing targeted support
4. Contributing to curriculum development and wider department initiatives
5. Supporting extracurricular opportunities, such as trips, clubs or language-themed events

Ideal MFL Teacher:

1. Holds QTS and a relevant degree
2. Has strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for language learning
3. Can create an inclusive, high-achieving classroom culture
