Job description

Job Title: Modern Foreign Languages teacher (GCSE level).

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Start Date: September 2025

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and engaging individual MFL teacher for this permanent role. The ideal candidate should show a true passion for different languages and be able to speak French/Spanish/German.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive environment, inside and outside of the classroom.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching strategies.
• Participate in school activities and events.
• Build positive relations with each class to encourage engagement.
• Communicate with parents about behaviour if necessary and on parent’sevenings.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching MFL at the secondary level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• A commitment to continuous professional development.
