Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join a dedicated team at a vibrant school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for languages, a flair for teaching, and a commitment to helping every student develop their linguistic skills and cultural understanding. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as an MFL Teacher:

• Teaching [French/Spanish/German – adjust as needed] across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with Key Stage 5 an advantage)
• Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons that inspire a love of language learning
• Monitoring student progress and providing targeted support
• Contributing to curriculum development and wider department initiatives
• Supporting extracurricular opportunities, such as trips, clubs or language-themed events

• Holds QTS and a relevant degree
• Has strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for language learning
