KS3/4 MFL Teacher (French and Spanish) - Maidstone

Start Date: September 2025 - July 2026
Contract Type: Full time or Part Time, Long term contract
Paid to Scale: £163 - £223 per day

Supply Desk are excited to be recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Secondary School in Maidstone, seeking a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher specialising in French and Spanish for a September 2025 start. This position is temporary with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

The Role:

• Full OR Part Time Opportunity
• Teach French and Spanish to KS3/4 students
• Plan and prepare lessons catering to all students’ needs and abilities
• Conduct marking and assessments to reinforce or extend students' learning as appropriate
• Adhere to and promote the school curriculum and values
• Pay rates in line with the teacher pay scale

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Be a committed team player
• Have experience teaching French and Spanish across KS3/4
• Adopt a positive, nurturing, and inclusive approach
• Have a proven track record of raising student attainment
• Possess strong classroom management skills
• Deliver engaging and relatable lessons
• Hold a current valid DBS or be willing to obtain one
