This full-time, permanent position commences in September and offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds and foster a love for languages and cultures.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive language instruction to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a vital role in developing students' linguistic proficiency, cultural awareness, and appreciation for the richness and diversity of the languages you teach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver stimulating lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their language acquisition.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and celebrates student achievement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching MFL at the secondary level.
  • Fluency in the target language(s) you will be teaching.
  • A strong understanding of language pedagogy and current teaching methodologies.
