Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in Ingatestone is seeking a MEWP Operator to operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms on a construction site. You will perform daily checks and assist site operations to keep lifts safe and compliant.

Candidates must have a valid CPCS card for the relevant MEWP, a solid understanding of site health and safety procedures, and be reliable and punctual as part of a team. This temporary, full-time role offers £21 per hour, with potential for ongoing work depending on project

The MEWP Operator role:

As the site MEWP Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) on a construction site in Ingatestone. Duties will include carrying out daily equipment checks, supporting site operations, and ensuring all lifting and access equipment is operated safely and in line with site health and safety procedures.

Requirements for the MEWP Operator:

• Previous experience in a MEWP Operator position
• Valid CPCS card covering the relevant MEWP equipment
• Good understanding of site health and safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a site team
• Full PPE and the ability to provide relevant qualifications on request
