Job summary

Jaguar Land Rover’s Electric Propulsion Manufacturing Centre (EPMC) seeks a Plant Quality Audit CMM Technician to enable precise metrology across powertrain and electrification manufacturing. You will program Zeiss Calypso and GOM Scanbox, analyze measurements, and deliver reports that drive root-cause investigations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Indentured apprenticeship with knowledge of metrology principles.
• Experience programming Coordinate Measuring Machines using Zeiss Calypso.
• Experience using GOM Scanbox systems in manufacturing or quality environments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work with CAD and metrology software.
• Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent measurement service across machining and assembly operations.
• Program and set up CMM equipment to meet operational requirements.
• Create detailed measurement reports and interpret data for decisions.
• Validate prototype, production and supplier components to control variation.
