Job summary
Client in Wolverhampton seeks an experienced CMM Technician / GOM Scanbox Programmer to join a long-term contract. The role involves programming Zeiss GOM Scanbox and CMM equipment for dimensional inspection, supporting quality and manufacturing teams with accurate analysis.
Key responsibilities include producing inspection reports, interpreting drawings with GD&T, and developing efficient inspection processes. Hybrid/remote options are not offered; immediate start available.
Qualifications
- Experience programming and operating Zeiss GOM Scanbox equipment.
- Experience programming Zeiss Calypso.
- Strong understanding of dimensional inspection and metrology techniques.
Responsibilities
- Operate and program Zeiss GOM Scanbox equipment for dimensional inspection.
- Operate and program CMM equipment for dimensional inspection.
- Produce and analyse dimensional inspection reports using metrology software.
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
- Verify calibration and maintain inspection equipment.
- Develop and improve inspection programs and fixtures.
