Job summary

Owen Daniels in Northampton is seeking an experienced Metrology Lead to head a team of CMM operators, programmers and metrology technicians. The role is permanent, full-time with day shifts, offering a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 plus benefits.

You will develop and prove CMM programs (ideally Zeiss Calypso), drive metrology accuracy, support NPIs and first article inspections, and lead investigations and corrective actions to improve quality and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a metrology team and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven ability to develop and prove CMM programs.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and inspection reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of CMM Operators, Programmers and Metrology Technicians.
• Develop and prove CMM programmes, supporting inspection and measurement activities.
• Lead metrology investigations and support quality issues and corrective actions.
• Support NPI, first article inspections and measurement reporting.
• Drive accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement across the metrology function.
