Job summary
ZEISS in the United Kingdom is seeking an Applications Engineer / Metrology specialist to support customers across measurement technologies and software platforms. You will deliver demonstrations, provide on-site and remote applications support, and tailor training to customer needs.
The role involves working with sales, assisting with implementations, troubleshooting, and occasional UK travel to customer sites.
Qualifications
- Experience in metrology, dimensional measurement, quality engineering or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
- Experience with CMM programming and inspection routines.
- Familiarity with metrology software and related tooling.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical demonstrations of ZEISS metrology solutions and software.
- Provide applications support remotely and on-site for customers.
- Deliver customer training tailored to business requirements.
- Support customers with measurement strategies and inspection routines.
- Work with sales to support new business opportunities.
- Assist with installations, acceptances and implementation projects.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide practical metrology solutions.
- Travel across the UK to support customer sites and projects.
