Job summary

ZEISS in the United Kingdom is seeking an Applications Engineer / Metrology specialist to support customers across measurement technologies and software platforms. You will deliver demonstrations, provide on-site and remote applications support, and tailor training to customer needs.

The role involves working with sales, assisting with implementations, troubleshooting, and occasional UK travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in metrology, dimensional measurement, quality engineering or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Experience with CMM programming and inspection routines.
• Familiarity with metrology software and related tooling.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical demonstrations of ZEISS metrology solutions and software.
• Provide applications support remotely and on-site for customers.
• Deliver customer training tailored to business requirements.
