Job summary

United Utilities is seeking a Product Owner (Metering) to own the digital products and systems underpinning metering operations. Hybrid working in the North West England with three days on-site, Warrington area.

You’ll lead backlog, engage with stakeholders, drive agile delivery, and ensure governance and continuous improvement. The role requires strong metering knowledge, product ownership experience and a passion for delivering digital change that improves customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar digital product role.
• Strong metering industry background and knowledge.
• Experience delivering change and driving digital product performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management across multiple business areas.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritise the metering product backlog in line with business objectives.
• Collaborate with business users and leadership to design, develop and test new functionality.
• Lead sprint planning and support agile delivery teams to deliver value quickly.
• Act as SME for metering products and related processes.
• Manage incidents, defects and enhancements to prioritise and resolve issues.
