Job summary

Belinda Roberts Ltd in the Bury area is seeking a Metering Data Operative to join our Metering Team. You will contact customers, suppliers or third parties to obtain read information and ensure accurate data across systems under tight deadlines.

The role requires strong communication and organisational skills, the ability to prioritise in a busy environment, and a proactive approach to resolving data issues. A plus is advanced MS Excel knowledge and experience in energy operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all meter installations, exchanges, and removals.
• Source meter details and update all relevant systems.
• Resolve issues from incorrect meter data promptly.
• Manage and remedy industry meter reading rejections.
• Liaise with customers, metering partners, reading agencies, and other suppliers.
• Support smart meter rollout strategy.
• Ensure meter readings are submitted to the industry within required timeframes.
