Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Metering Coordinator for United Utilities, based in Worsley. You will coordinate meter installations and pre-site planning to ensure works start on time and in compliance with NRSWA.

You will manage site visits, update customer accounts in our works management systems, generate timely reports, and maintain strong communication with field teams to minimise costs and delays.

Qualifications

• Experience in Utilities or similar sector.
• Experience in a planning / coordinator role.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a logical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Review customer applications for meter installations.
• Coordinate site visits with field resources to update customer accounts.
• Maintain timely input and uploading of information into works management systems.
• Ensure client and operational requirements are met professionally and efficiently.
• Provide daily and weekly reports to meet service levels and objectives.
• Escalate issues and contribute innovative solutions while embracing change.
• Report safety issues according to company procedures.

METERING COORDINATOR

Department: United Utilities

Employment Type: Full Time

Reporting To: Oliver Chowdbury

Compensation: GBP 28,000 / year

As a Utilities Coordinator, you will be the key contact before works for the operational team. You will have full accountability for the coordination, planning & streetworks aspects of all works before they commence on site. You will ensure that all operational teams are able to undertake their work in line with the received push plans and requested dates as well as compliant with NRSWA and ensure that timescales are adhered to minimising any financial impact to the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Review UU customer applications for internal and external meter installations
• Review and close customer applications in triage
• Coordinate site visits with field resource to update customer account information
• Maintain timely and accurate input and uploading of information into the works management systems, ensuring that all issues are recorded and escalated
• Ensure that all the client and operational requirements are met in a professional and efficient manner
• Provide daily and weekly reports as required and to ensure that all service levels and objectives are achieved
• Provide a positive and innovative input into the team, through provision of solutions to problems and embracing change
• Ensure that safety issues are reported in line with Company procedures
