Job summary

NRL Group is seeking a field-based LPG installation technician based near Horncastle, with travel across the UK. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and requires staying away from home 2–3 nights weekly to service customers nationwide.

Responsibilities include installing, maintaining and testing LPG tanks and pipework, commissioning and certifying systems, and ensuring compliance with UKLPG Codes of Practice while communicating professionally with customers on-site.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence (Category B) up to 3.5 tonnes.
  • Full ACS certification including Regulators, Meters and Vessels.
  • Willing to stay away 2–3 nights per week.
  • Ability to travel nationwide and work independently.
  • Knowledge of UKLPG Codes of Practice.
  • Good communication and basic IT literacy.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine inspection and servicing of LPG systems.
  • Complete commissioning, purging, and certification for all installation work.
  • Follow installation drawings and technical plans accurately.
  • Adhere to safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Use problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Engage with customers professionally on-site and maintain strong communication.
