Job summary

Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited is recruiting Meter Readers for roles across the UK. No prior experience required. You will collect data from water, gas and electricity meters for residential and commercial sites, updating readings on a handheld device and delivering excellent customer service.

We offer £13.23 per hour, 40–45 hour weeks, a company car, uniform and PPE, full training, pension, up to 28 days holiday, and a bonus scheme with earnings up to £1000 monthly.

Qualifications

• Manual UK driving licence - min 1 year, max 6 points.
• Physically fit for bending, lifting, kneeling, stairs, 4–5 miles per day.
• Clear DBS check and credit report checks.
• 5 years employment history.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving data from water, gas and electric meters at domestic, commercial and industrial sites.
• Carry out visual inspections of metering equipment.
• Conduct Charge Point Surveys.
• Work independently with drive and motivation.
• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
