Job summary

M Group Energy in North London is recruiting meter readers for a temporary, on-going contract within our Metering team. You will begin with a structured training programme before heading into the field to read meters, whether inside or outside properties, and plan your route on a handheld device.

You will work independently most of the day, prioritising safety and excellent customer service, with support from a field manager.

Qualifications

• Training programme before field work.
• Ability to walk or drive between properties and read meters.
• Strong customer service and safety awareness.
• Background checks and possible drug/alcohol testing during induction.

Responsibilities

• Read meters and record readings accurately.
• Read meters in indoor or outdoor locations and plan routes.
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with the public.
• Work independently in the field with support from the metering team and field manager.
