Job summary

M Group Energy is hiring Meter Readers for roles based in Reading. You will read meters, record readings accurately and serve customers on a field-based, independent schedule. Training is provided before you go into the field, and you may work in all weather conditions while ensuring safety.

Typical duties include planning routes, using handheld devices, and maintaining high standards of customer service. A full UK driving licence and DBS clearance are required for this ongoing temporary

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence.
• DBS check and 5 years’ employment history required.
• Able to pass screening and vetting standards.

Responsibilities

• Read meters and record information accurately.
• Plan route and use handheld device to log readings.
• Work independently with guidance from Field Manager.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
