Job summary

CBC Metal Fabrication, based in Coatbridge, is seeking skilled metal fabricators to complement our team. You will interpret client drawings, plan operations, and manufacture parts using a range of metalworking machinery and hand tools.

Welding in TIG and MIG processes and other joining techniques, fabrication, finishing, and occasional site work are part of the role. Based at our Coatbridge factory with some travel to install on site.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret and plan operations from client drawings/requirements.
• Experience with metalworking machinery and hand tools.
• Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding and other joining techniques.
• Experience with fabrication and finishing processes.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate parts from client drawings and requirements.
• Operate a range of metalworking machinery and hand tools.
• Perform TIG and MIG welding and other joining techniques.
• Carry out fabrication and finishing processes on decorative metalwork.
• Perform site work and installation when required.

Job description

CBC Metal Fabrication is a manufacturer of bespoke, architectural metal fabrications based in Coatbridge and is part of the Scotsman Group.

We manufacture in a range of metals including brass, copper, aluminium, stainless and mild steels, working from design drawings to finished product, to meet the demanding standards required by a range of clients.

We are looking for skilled metal fabricators to complement our existing team and will have experience in some or all of the following:-

• Ability to interpret, plan the operations, and manufacture parts from client drawings/requirements.
• Operation of a range of metalworking machinery and hand tools.
• TIG & MIG welding and other material joining techniques.
• Fabrication and assembly processes.
• Finishing processes applied to decorative metalwork.
• Site work and installation.

Based in our Coatbridge factory, working hours would be:-

8.00-12.30 & 1.00-4.30 Monday-Thursday.

8.00-12.30 & 1.00-3.00 Friday.

Site work may be involved travelling from and back to our Coatbridge base.
