Job summary

Tru Talent are seeking a talented MET Technician/Strip Fitter to join a leading team in Liverpool. You will repair damaged vehicles in line with manufacturer specs in a state-of-the-art body shop using the latest equipment.

The role requires an apprenticeship as a MET Technician and experience in a busy bodyshop, with 4-wheel alignment knowledge and diagnostic training. Salary is up to £50,000 with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship as MET Technician or equivalent.
• Experience in a busy bodyshop and geometry work with 4-wheel alignment.
• Diagnostic training and up-to-date repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
• Follow repair techniques to factory specs and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct inspections to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Repair or replace damaged mechanical, electrical, and trim components.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts as needed.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and fix issues in the vehicle's systems.
• Perform quality checks to ensure repairs meet standards.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and standards.
