Job summary

Solus, owned by Aviva, is seeking a Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (MET) Technician. You’ll diagnose faults, strip, repair and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components and re‑assemble vehicles to a safe, high‑quality standard.

Work with Panel and Paint teams to support repair flow, maintain safe working practices, and take pride in first‑time‑right repairs. Solus offers a competitive salary, generous holiday, pension, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive repair environment with a safety‑focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Strip, repair and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in line with manufacturer methods
• Re‑assemble vehicles accurately, ready for paint and final sign‑off
• Work closely with Panel, Paint and production colleagues to support repair flow
• Maintain safe, tidy working practices and professional standards
