Job summary

Solus, owned by Aviva, is seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our Birmingham accident repair team. You’ll perform mechanical, electrical and trim repairs to manufacturer standards, diagnose faults and work with colleagues to deliver first-time-right outcomes.

If you have MET experience or a strong automotive background and a keen eye for detail, this role offers development opportunities and funded training to support your transition into MET.

Qualifications

• Experienced MET Technicians within an accident repair environment or automotive technicians transitioning to MET.
• Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
• Solid technical foundation in automotive repair and a quality-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality mechanical, electrical and trim repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently and safely.
• Working collaboratively with your workshop and wider team.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Contributing to first-time-right repairs and excellent customer outcomes.
