Tru Talent is seeking a talented MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician to join a leading body shop in the United Kingdom. You will repair damaged vehicles in line with manufacturers' specifications using modern equipment.

You will need an apprenticeship with NVQ/ATA/IMI/SVQ, experience in a busy shop, geometry work and diagnostics, and a commitment to safety and quality. The role offers benefits including generous holiday, paid breaks, and health care discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship and gained a technical qualification (NVQ/ATA/IMI/SVQ).
• Experience as MET Technician/Strip Fitter in a busy body shop.
• Team player with self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
• Experience with geometry work and 4-wheel alignment.
• Sound knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and diagnostic training.

Responsabilités

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
• Follow repair techniques and factory specifications.
• Inspect to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Repair or replace damaged components.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts as required.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify system faults.
• Perform quality checks to meet industry standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations.
