Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting for an experienced MET Technician in Croydon. The role focuses on stripping and fitting, refitting panels, and diagnosing ECU issues within a supportive workshop.

The position offers a 45-hour workweek, discounts on parts, and industry-leading training, with a strong emphasis on safety and team collaboration. Compensation includes a base salary up to £58,500 with bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in stripping and fitting roles.
• Competence in removing and refitting vehicle panels and mechanical components.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and resetting vehicle control units.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a workshop environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a safe working attitude.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Remove damaged parts for repairs, ensuring proper storage and safety.
• Identify additional damage and order necessary parts with VDA.
• Ensure all parts are correct and available for the repair process.
• Refit vehicle panels while maintaining manufacturer tolerances.
• Replace mechanical components, including steering and drivetrain parts.
• Reset vehicle control units using diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain health and safety standards and attend safety training.
• Maintain tools and equipment as MET Technician.
• Support team activities and other duties as required.
