Job summary

Steer Automotive Group is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join our accident repair centre in Darlington, County Durham. You’ll strip, diagnose, repair and refit accident-damaged vehicles to high standards using modern repair methods and diagnostic equipment.

You’ll work as part of a skilled bodyshop team with opportunities for training through Steer Academy, career progression and a comprehensive benefits package including pension contributions, enhanced holiday allowance and flexible

Qualifications

• Experience as MET Technician or similar role in accident repair.
• Ability to dismantle and reassemble vehicles to high standards.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Strip, diagnose, repair and refit accident-damaged vehicles.
• Remove and refit mechanical, electrical and trim components.
• Work to manufacturer standards using modern repair methods.
• Collaborate with bodyshop team to ensure safety and quality.
