Our client, one of the UK’s leading automotive accident repair groups, is currently recruiting for a Vehicle MET Technician to join their busy centre.

Duties of the MET Technician:

• Dismantling and reassembling vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer methods
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and performing necessary repairs
• Using the latest technology and equipment to ensure quality, safety, and compliance

Requirements of the MET Technician:

• Recognised qualification in automotive MET/vehicle body repair or actively working towards an IMI qualification; individuals without formal qualifications but with substantial vehicle body repair or strip and fit experience will also be considered
• Experience in vehicle dismantling, reassembly, and fault diagnosis
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to follow manufacturer and company standards on job cards
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and within a team
