MET TECHNICIAN / STRIP FITTER

Position Details:

• Salary: £37,000 - £42,000
• Working Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
• Location: Uttoxeter

We are seeking a talented and efficient MET Technician / Strip Fitter to join our leading team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications within a state-of-the-art Bodyshop, utilizing modern equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities:

1. Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
2. Follow correct repair techniques to produce work that meets factory specifications and ensures customer satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Completion of a recognized apprenticeship as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter and possession of a relevant technical qualification (e.g., NVQ, VCQ, SVQ, ATA).
2. Previous experience working as a MET Technician / Strip Fitter in a busy body shop environment.
3. Strong team player with self-motivation to earn bonus hours.
4. Commitment to high standards and up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
