Qualifications

• Proven experience as a MET Technician, Auto Electrician, or similar role in automotive or commercial vehicle sectors.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes including welding, filler work, and trailer repairs.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of health and safety protocols within an automotive repair environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vehicle repairs, including welding and filler work.
• Diagnose and rectify faults on a variety of commercial vehicles such as HGVs, vans, and fleet cars.
• Conduct trailer repairs and welding activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Prepare vehicles for repair, including sanding, masking, and surface preparation.
• Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats with precision.
• Carry out minor bodywork repairs and filler application.
• Conduct thorough quality control checks on all work completed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and production targets.
