Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced MET Technician for a reputable independent bodyshop in Feltham, Greater London. You will perform mechanical repairs, bodywork, diagnostics, and road tests, ensuring high quality workmanship and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, experience with commercial or HGV vehicles is desirable, and ATA certification (or working towards it) is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial or HGV vehicles desirable.
• ATA certification (or working towards it) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical repairs and bodywork on allocated jobs.
• Perform dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic work.
• Reassemble vehicles, replacing parts as necessary.
• Conduct inspections and testing to ensure safety and compliance.
• Identify faults or work deemed advisable for safety considerations.
• Carry out road tests in a safe and legal manner to check vehicle roadworthiness.
