Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited in Redruth is seeking experienced MET Technicians and Panel Technicians to join a busy accident repair centre. The role requires previous bodyshop experience, a valid UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.

You will strip, repair and rebuild accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring repairs meet manufacturer specifications. The position is full-time and permanent with a competitive hourly rate and an uncapped bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as MET Technician, Mechanical Electrical Trim Technician, Panel Technician or Panel Beater.
• Proven experience within a bodyshop or accident repair centre.
• Strong technical knowledge relevant to your specialism.
• Ability to complete repairs independently to high standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Strip, dismantle and rebuild accident-damaged vehicles.
• Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim repairs (MET).
• Repair, replace and realign damaged vehicle panels.
• Prepare vehicles and components for the next stage of repair.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Work efficiently to achieve quality and productivity targets.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised bodyshop environment.

Job description

We are recruiting for experienced MET Technicians, Mechanical Electrical Trim Technicians, Panel Technicians and Panel Beaters to join a busy accident repair centre in Redruth. Applicants must have previous experience within a bodyshop or accident repair environment, hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: Redruth

Salary: Up to £24.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Bonus: Uncapped Monthly Performance Bonus

Hours: Full Time, Permanent Position
