Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join a busy accident repair centre in Truro. You must have MET experience within a bodyshop, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. IMI accreditation or equivalent is desirable.

Salary starts at £35,000 basic with an OTE up to £50,000. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm with overtime available; no weekend work. Training and modern facilities are provided to support career progression.

• Experience as MET Technician in a bodyshop or accident repair center.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills are required.
• Excellent attention to detail and high workmanship standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy accident repair environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MET repairs and replacement work.
• Remove and refit vehicle components during the repair process.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete repairs safely within agreed timescales.
• Liaise with colleagues to ensure parts are available.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship on every repair.

We are recruiting for an experienced MET Technician, Mechanical Electrical Trim Technician or Bodyshop Technician to join a busy accident repair centre in Truro. Applicants must have previous MET experience within a bodyshop or accident repair environment, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. Salary: £35,000 Basic
