Our client is a well-established automotive business with a busy bodyshop in Gloucester, and they are currently looking for an experienced MET / Paint Technician to join their growing team.
This role will involve a combination of mechanical, electrical and trim (MET) work alongside vehicle preparation and paint-related duties, helping to return accident-damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition.

Carry out MET work, including removal and refitting of mechanical, electrical and trim components
Prepare vehicles and panels for painting
Carry out paint preparation, including sanding, masking and priming
Assist with paint and refinishing work where required
Assess vehicle damage and identify the work required
Work closely with Panel Technicians and other bodyshop staff
Ensure all repairs and preparation work are completed to a high standard
Follow manufacturer and industry repair standards
Accurately complete job cards and repair documentation
Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
Proven experience as an MET Technician, Paint Technician, Vehicle Technician or Bodyshop Technician
Experience across MET and vehicle paint/preparation work
Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes
Experience within a busy bodyshop or accident repair environment
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant automotive or bodyshop qualifications are preferred
Full UK Driving Licence
£22 - £24 per hour, depending on experience
Monday to Friday working
