Job summary

Aramark is recruiting a Mess Steward at Weeton Barracks, Preston. You will help provide quality laundry, accommodation, mess-room and janitorial services, with attentive health and safety standards.

The role offers part-time hours (16 hours per week) with four days out of seven, including weekends; you will be trained, supported, and encouraged to grow within a global catering and facilities services leader.

Qualifications

• UK resident for the past 3 years.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Able to pass security vetting and DBS checks.
• Previous experience is great, but not essential – full training provided!

Responsibilities

• Serving food and/or beverages to customers.
• Cash handling and till operation.
• Occasional bar work.
• General housekeeping, including kitchen cleaning, pot wash, and dishwashing.
• Stocking up and stock rotation using the FIFO method.
• Report to line manager for any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during your shift.
• Duties may be changed to meet the changing needs and requirements of the company.
