Job summary

A leading professional services network is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Lead Advisory Manager in London. Mergers & Acquisitions - Manager (4822)

As a Mergers & Acquisitions Lead Advisory Manager, you will be responsible for developing the M&A service line by delivering high-quality services across various clients, including advising on disposals, acquisitions, fundraisings, and management buyouts.

The focus will primarily be on privately-owned mid-market businesses, working on transactions with an enterprise value of £5–50m.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Researching and preparing for new deal opportunities and pitches.
  • Preparing financial models and transaction documentation, including business plans, marketing materials, and financial forecasts.
  • Identifying and approaching potential buyers for clients.
  • Project managing larger transactions and overseeing smaller ones.
  • Supporting the national M&A team's marketing activities and building your own market profile.
  • Building strong client relationships and addressing issues promptly.
  • Demonstrating strategic vision and focusing on long-term goals.
  • Maintaining control and stability under pressure, respecting deadlines.
  • Presenting service features and benefits confidently to clients.
  • Ensuring services are appropriate for clients.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Producing high-quality work in line with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Qualified to ACA (or equivalent) level.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Lead Advisory M&A experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop strong client relationships.
  • Financial modelling skills.
  • Desire to grow and develop the department.
  • Innovative thinking and methodology development.
