We're looking for a Merchandising Team Leader based in the Harrow area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working in a range of high street retailers on behalf of exciting household name brands. We work across categories including: Books and Entertainment, Fashion, Grocery, Health and Beauty, Beers, Wines and Spirits, and Toys.

You'll be supervising and training your team to ensure they deliver excellent service for our clients and meet set measures and deadlines. Merchandising tasks include setting up Point of Sale displays, checking stock levels, and replenishing fixtures. Every day is different and rewarding! About the role:

The ideal recruitment area is Harrow, covering:

EC1/4 - HP1/11 - LU1/6 - N1C - NW1/11 - SE1/11 - SW1/10 - W1/11 - WC1/2 - WD3/25.

The contracted hours are 30 per week. You will conduct supervisory tasks for 12 hours per week at £13.70/hour and client merchandising tasks for 18 hours per week at £13.20/hour.

  • Supervising: Support the coordination of the merchandising schedule. Coach and train colleagues on merchandising principles, processes, and procedures to ensure high-quality service.
  • Compliance and Standards: Act as a compliance champion, ensuring adherence to standards, guidelines, store policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations. Follow planograms to maintain consistency.
  • Product Placement and Replenishment: Arrange products to maximize visibility and appeal.
  • Promotional and POS Setup: Set up displays and signage to communicate offers effectively.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Build relationships with store staff, provide feedback to client teams, and act as the eyes and ears in stores.

What makes you excellent:

  • Willing to travel across the area
  • Full UK driving license and access to a suitable car
  • Comfortable with manual handling tasks
  • Experience in retail merchandising, retail, or customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and find solutions
  • Pride in delivering high standards
  • Experience supervising or coaching colleagues is a plus
  • Willing to accept home deliveries for some visits (paid extra)
  • Confident using a company tablet for tasks
