Amazon is looking for an exceptionally motivated and talented Visual Merchandising Manager with a strong customer focus and analytical skills. Responsible for leading multiple workstreams through innovation and creation of engaging and exciting customer led planograms utilising Blue Yonder software, delivered to critical path timelines. Able to clearly communicate to leadership on status, risks, and process changes, the ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, thriving in a fast-paced business environment, operating across multiple teams and levels in the organisation.


Key job responsibilities

The Program Manager is responsible for:

  1. Leading multiple workstreams to drive continuous improvement through creation and delivery of planograms for Amazon Fresh Stores, including new store launches and resets.
  2. Development and presentation of data led analysis to support choices made when preparing change.
  3. Collaborating cross functionally to maintain day to day critical path activities, ensuring key deadlines are met.
  4. Driving continuous improvement, utilising tracking mechanisms to engage cross functional stakeholder teams on new ways of working and initiatives.
  5. Insisting on the highest standards to deliver the best possible customer experience.
  6. Working closely with the Macro Space Planning team to review planogram requirements and adjacencies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- >3 years’ experience in Merchandising and Space Planning or category management roles requiring data analysis, process improvements, creative problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data and use customer research, data and metrics to back up, or disprove assumptions and identify opportunities.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Process driven, identifies risks and removes the future potential for these using clear processes and mechanisms.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Passionate and knowledgeable about customer behavior.
- Ability to deliver results where there is ambiguity - Experience of designing and implementing new processes and customer programmes.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with the tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in fast-paced environment.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong experience of industry standard space planning software.
- Background in Visual merchandising and Planogramming.
- Experience creating and/or improving operational processes across teams/stakeholders.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
- Comfortable with a varied set of software and editing tools. Ability to learn new tools quickly.
