Job summary

Jimmy Choo is seeking a Merchandising Coordinator, Shoes to join the London Head Office. You will support coordination of the footwear collection, manage product information in PLM and driving selling tools, while working closely with Design, Product Development and Retail Merchandising to gather insights and opportunities.

The role requires at least 3 years in merchandising within fashion/luxury, a structured, analytical mindset and strong communication across teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate footwear collection process from opportunity tracking to line plan updates and selling tool preparation.
  • Collaborate with Retail Merchandising and Shoes Merchandising to gather learnings, range requirements, regional feedback, price information and assortment opportunities.
  • Build relationships with Product Development, Design, Retail Merchandising, Supply Chain and Merchandising to ensure clear communication and timely follow‑up.
  • Assist with preparation of a commercially balanced footwear assortment considering brand relevance, target price, margin and feasibility.
  • Coordinate with Design and Product Development to brief, track and follow up on product updates, amendments and approvals.
  • Support set‑up and maintenance of footwear collection information in PLM and internal systems.

Job description

Role Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Merchandising Coordinator, Shoes to join the Footwear Product Merchandising team at the London Head Office, reporting to the Senior Director Product Merchandising, Shoes. This new position has been created to support the continued evolution of the footwear product function, bringing full-price and remakes product activity closer together to ensure a more connected, commercially informed approach across the category. Sitting within the Shoes Product Merchandising team, the role will provide day-to-day coordination support across the footwear collection, with exposure to analysis, collection planning, product data, pricing, systems, selling tools and cross-functional follow-up. It is suited to someone highly organised and detail-conscious, with strong analytical skills and a developing understanding of range plans, target prices, product assortment building and the product lifecycle within a fashion, luxury or accessories environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Collection Coordination Support the coordination of the footwear collection process, from product opportunity tracking through to line plan updates, pricing information and selling tool preparation.
  • Work closely with Retail Merchandising and the wider Shoes Merchandising team to gather product learnings, range requirements, regional feedback, price information and assortment opportunities.
  • Build strong day-to-day working relationships with Product Development, Design, Retail Merchandising, Supply Chain and the wider Merchandising team to support clear communication and timely follow-up.
  • Assist with the preparation of a commercially balanced footwear assortment by supporting the team with information on brand relevance, target price, margin, development feasibility and supply chain requirements.
  • Coordinate with Design and Product Development to brief, track and follow up on product updates, ensuring amendments, cancellations and approvals are managed clearly and accurately.
Systems, Data and Selling Tools
  • Support the set-up and ongoing maintenance of footwear collection information in PLM and relevant internal systems.
  • Maintain accurate line plans, collection overviews, product launch documents and selling tools, ensuring product information is complete, current and clearly communicated.
  • Update range changes, product amendments and cancellations across relevant documents and systems, ensuring stakeholders are informed accurately and on time.
  • Drive coordination of product information across key teams, ensuring updates, actions and key decisions are captured and communicated accurately.
  • Support sample tracking where required, partnering with Product Development and relevant teams to ensure samples and product information are available for meetings, reviews and sales campaigns.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, selling tools and product training materials for relevant internal meetings and sales campaigns.
Analysis
  • Support sales and product performance analysis across the shoes category, helping to identify best sellers, trends, opportunities and risks, and summarising key insights for the team.
  • Assist in monitoring footwear performance in partnership with the wider Shoes Merchandising team, highlighting successful products, constructions, materials, colours and price points to support future collection discussions.
  • Prepare regular analysis and updates for performance reviews, product learnings, regional feedback and commercial opportunities.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in merchandising, product merchandising, buying, allocation or a related product‑focused role, ideally within a fashion, luxury or accessories environment. Understanding of range plans, product assortment building, target prices, margin and commercial range structure. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, identify key points and communicate findings clearly. Experience using PLM or similar tools is desirable. Strong communication skills with the confidence to work cross-functionally and represent the Shoes Merchandising team professionally.
