Job summary

Mountain Warehouse is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to support the category strategy and trading in a fast-paced environment. You will help forecast, manage linecards and buys, and ensure stock availability across the season.

Based in London with hybrid working, you will collaborate with the Merchandising team to maximise sales and profit while maintaining accuracy and timely stock delivery. A strong Excel skillset and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience at Assistant Merchandiser level.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Effective communicator.
• Good Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Merchandiser to deliver the category strategy, providing analysis and opportunities.
• Manage linecards and intake: forecasting and identifying where additional buys are needed and ensuring stock comes in when required.
• Support the Merchandiser to actively trade the category and maximise sales, profit and availability throughout the season.
• Check and ensures that the right stock is being shipped from suppliers on time.
• Share best practices across the buying and merchandising community.
