Job summary

The Works Stores Ltd is seeking a motivated Merchandiser to ensure stock is available in the right place and at the right time. You will use data and insight to plan ranges, collaborate with Buyers and suppliers, and drive commercial performance across channels.

In this hybrid role based at our Coleshill support centre, you will manage forecasts, budgets and promotions, maintain stock integrity, and deliver merchandising milestones within critical paths.

Qualifications

• Uses data and insight to plan and manage stock effectively.
• Collaborates with Buyers, Planners and suppliers to balance ranges.
• Interprets data to shape strategic merchandising decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely delivery of stock to maximise availability across channels.
• Support on-time delivery by driving merchandising milestones and resolving issues with suppliers.
• Manage stock budgets throughout the year, including peak periods and launches.
• Order management to keep activities within the critical path.
• Own and optimise category, range and SKU forecasts for sales and margins.
• Maintain WSSI and line card management to align stock with goals.
• Collaborate with Buyers to present compelling product ranges and intake phasing.
• Support range and promotional analysis to guide planning decisions.
• Analyse weekly trading performance to identify opportunities and risks.
• Deliver sales in line with budget and strategic objectives.
• Coach and develop team members to raise overall performance.
