Job summary

CPM is seeking Merchandisers to cover St Austell and surrounding areas. The role starts within 2 weeks after onboarding and training and offers long-term, ongoing work. You’ll typically work 2–4 hours per week, with pay at £15.07 per hour PAYE including holiday pay.

Flexible across Monday to Sunday with some fixed days (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday); using your own car to deliver materials and reporting via our app. Territory covers stores within 10 miles of St Austell.

Qualifications

• Ideally, experience in retail or merchandising.
• Experience in retailers such as Boots, department stores, or premium beauty chains is desirable.
• Someone who is available Monday to Sunday. We do have fixed visits to be completed on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
• Someone reliable, adaptable, and happy working independently.
• Confident talking to store staff and building good in-store relationships.
• Takes pride in their work.
• Use your own car, as you may need to carry promotional materials or small displays (these may be delivered and stored to your home).
• Use of a phone or tablet to complete reporting on our app — this includes sending clear photos and sharing useful feedback.

Responsibilities

• Visit a mix of high street, grocery, and convenience stores to complete merchandising tasks, audits, and set up point-of-sale (POS) materials.
• Confidently navigating fixtures (e.g. gondolas, bays, shelving)
• Merchandise products in line with agreed planograms.
• Make sure as much stock as possible is out on shelves to help drive sales and keep displays looking great.
• Arrange and top up products on shelves and displays so they’re eye-catching and easy for customers to find.
• Where possible, negotiate extra display space to help boost sales.
• Some stock moving and lifting may be involved from time to time.
