Job summary

Smiths News is seeking an Instore Merchandiser in Farnborough on a flexible, part-time contract. You’ll manage POS placement, stock replenishment, and audits across your territory, creating engaging displays and maintaining on-brand presentation.

You’ll build strong store relationships and plan efficient, cost-effective visits with autonomy. Applicants must have a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle; the role requires location within 15 miles of the area and offers flexible hours

Merchandiser – Farnborough
Flexible, part time contract
Pay Rate – £14.24 Per hour (includes Holiday Pay)

Travel time and mileage are payable subject to eligibility

Plus: Additional location allowance £0.76 per hour

Full UK Driving licence plus use of vehicle required.

About the role:

As an Instore Merchandiser, you’ll bring products to life out in the world on the shop floor. You’ll own your territory, taking care of point-of-sale placement to stock replenishment and auditing. You’ll take pride in first-class standards, creating and maintaining visually impactful displays, and building strong relationships with store colleagues and managers. You’ll be the person who keeps everything in order, ensuring that stock is replenished and that displays stay on-brand. You’ll take charge of your own cost-effective journey plan and make every visit count. If you’re someone who thrives on autonomy and loves to engage with others, this role is for you.

About you

Previous Merchandising experience would be advantageous but not mandatory. However, you will need:

• A friendly confident personality with a can do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, high integrity and reliable.
• To be located within 15 miles of advertised area.
• Ability to work on own initiative and make the right decisions under pressure.
• Full commitment to providing excellent customer service.
