Job summary

ASOS is seeking a Merchandise Planner to own the planning and trading of key product categories. You will manage budgets and OTB, collaborating with product teams to allocate pre-season budgets and analyze performance to drive sales and margin.

In this fast-paced role, you will deliver strategic category plans, provide guidance on width/depth, and lead in-season trading decisions. Strong Excel skills and a commercial mindset are essential for success in this hybrid London-based position.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of driving sales through merchandiser-level thinking.
• Commercial mindset with budget and target control.
• Strong numerical acumen to manage category performance.
• Experience in planning, managing sales, stock, intake and OTB.
• Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and trading plans for product categories in-season and pre-season.
• Define budgets, OTB and intake plans across business units with clear targets.
• Collaborate with product teams to allocate budget and width/depth requirements.
• Provide guidance to teams on pricing, promotions, and end-use management.
• Support leadership with analytics and actionable recommendations to drive sales and margins.
