Job summary

Ferrovial Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Section Engineer to lead a section of the installation works at Heathrow Airport. You will manage multiple work packages, ensure safety, quality, and cost control, and coordinate with clients, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver on time and to specification.

The role requires strong supervision of engineers and the ability to drive short-term programmes, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with RAMS

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supervisory/engineering management within MEP, infrastructure, or utility construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and engineering principles.
• Demonstrated commercial awareness with contract administration and project controls.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work packages.
• Valid CSCS card is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Supervise subcontractors and site engineers, ensuring RAMS and methods are followed.
• Review and verify setting out activities for accuracy and compliance.
• Mentor MEP engineers; oversee testing, quality records, briefings and inspections.
• Maintain engineering records and site diaries; collaborate with stakeholders.
