Pertemps Tm is seeking an experienced Revit Technician for our Nottingham/Leeds offices. You will develop and coordinate Building Services models across feasibility to detailed design, ensuring high-quality BIM outputs and adherence to project standards.

Join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to RIBA Stages 0-5 with opportunities for professional development and progression. Strong Revit MEP and AutoCAD skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience using Revit MEP across RIBA Stages 0-5.
• Multidisciplinary collaboration with Engineers, Designers and Clerks.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Building Services Engineers to produce coordinated drawings.
• Produce and coordinate Building Services models using Revit MEP.
• Create and amend MEP families, objects, tags and annotations.
• Produce legends, schedules and templates.
• Support delivery of projects within agreed timescales.
• Maintain BIM protocols and project-specific requirements.

Revit Technician
Location: Nottingham or Leeds
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week
The Company
A leading privately owned Building Services Consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Revit Technician to join its Nottingham office.
The business delivers Building Services solutions across a diverse range of projects and sectors, working from early feasibility through to detailed and fully coordinated designs for installation. You'll join a multidisciplinary team with a strong focus on technical quality, collaboration and continued professional development.
The Role
As a Revit Technician, you will provide technical support within a multidisciplinary team consisting of Building Services Designers, Building Physicists and Document Controllers.
You’ll work across a wide range of projects from feasibility through to detailed and fully coordinated designs for installation, covering RIBA Stages 0-5.
The role will include:

• Collaborating with Building Services Engineers to produce coordinated drawings
• Producing and coordinating Building Services models using Revit MEP
• Creating and amending MEP families, objects, tags and annotations
• Creating legends, schedules and templates
• Producing and amending drawings using Revit MEP and AutoCAD
• Supporting the delivery of projects within agreed timescales
• Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary project team
• Following BIM protocols and project-specific requirements
• Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry regulations and design standards
• Providing guidance and support to junior staff and apprentices
• Liaising professionally with clients, consultants, contractors and colleagues at all levels
• Ensuring drawings and technical information are delivered accurately and to a high standard

Requirements
The successful Revit Technician will ideally have:

• Strong working knowledge of Revit MEP
• Experience using AutoCAD and associated computer software
• Previous experience within the MEP/Building Services industry or a similar technical role
• Good understanding of Building Services coordination
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary environmentStrong attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use initiative and prioritise workloads effectively
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
• ONC/HNC in a relevant discipline would be desirable
