Job summary

Pinnacle Construction Professionals Ltd in Manchester is seeking a skilled MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a full-time basis. You will work with project and commercial teams to manage cost-related aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health services on site.

You will assess subcontractor accounts, handle variations, prepare interim and final payment applications, review drawings and specs, and contribute to cost forecasting and risk management.

Qualifications

• Strong MEP quantity surveying skills including measurement, estimating, cost planning, and valuation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health services.
• Experience in contract administration and commercial management, including managing variations, change control, subcontract accounts, and final accounts.
• Proficiency in construction documentation and tools, such as drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and relevant quantity surveying or estimating software.
• Knowledge of UK construction standards, procurement routes, contract forms (NEC, JCT), and cost control principles in building services projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage all cost-related aspects of MEP services across projects.
• Assess subcontractor accounts and prepare interim/final payment applications.
• Handle variations and change control to protect project commercial position.
• Support contract administration and review drawings/specifications for cost accuracy.
• Monitor cost forecasting and commercial risk, with regular reporting to stakeholders.
• Maintain clear documentation and communication with internal and external teams.
