Job summary

Fusion People is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor – MEP to join the Central London commercial team. You will oversee commercial delivery, cost control and contract administration on live MEP projects, with opportunities for progression.

Applicants should have a relevant qualification and proven MEP QS experience, with strong negotiation and reporting skills. This role is based in Central London and offers a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial management within an MEP contracting environment.
• Strong understanding of subcontract procurement and account management.
• Experience producing CVRs, forecasts and monthly commercial reports.
• Proven cost control, change management and commercial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of MEP works across allocated projects.
• Carry out measurement and valuation from site records and drawings.
• Prepare Applications for Payment and Payment Notices per contract terms.
• Manage project variations and change control impacts.
• Procure and manage subcontractor accounts through final account settlement.
• Maintain CVRs, cost-to-complete forecasts and risk registers.
• Monitor cash flow and turnover forecasts; produce monthly reports.
• Negotiate subcontractor and supplier accounts; ensure governance compliance.
