Job summary

LJ.B & Co. Construction Recruitment seeks an MEP Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join their head office in Holborn, Central London.

The candidate will support commercial and procurement activities for MEP packages across multiple projects, with strong emphasis on cost control and tender analysis. Responsibilities include estimating, cost planning, tender preparation, procurement of MEP subcontractors, and drafting subcontract agreements.

Qualifications

• MEP estimating and cost planning for mechanical and electrical packages.
• Tender preparation and analysis of subcontractor quotations.
• Procurement and subcontractor management to meet budgets and programme.
• Drafting and administering MEP subcontract agreements and purchase orders.
• Cost monitoring, reporting and forecast across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• MEP estimating and cost planning for mechanical and electrical packages across projects.
• Review tender packages and analyze subcontractor pricing.
• Procurement support and management of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist drafting and administering MEP subcontract agreements and POs.
• Monitor package costs and assist with variations and cost control.
