Qualifications

• Strong mechanical building services experience.
• Experience as a Technical Services Manager, Building Services Manager, or similar preconstruction lead.
• Experience in fit-out, refurbishment or complex construction projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC, ventilation and public health systems.
• Ability to review designs and tender submissions.
• Commercial awareness and tender process understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical technical review of MEP packages from initial enquiry through to contract award.
• Review HVAC, ventilation, public health, drainage and plant strategies.
• Identify technical risks, design deficiencies, scope gaps and buildability concerns.
• Support tender submissions through technical reviews and contractor engagement.
• Work closely with estimators, commercial teams, consultants and specialist contractors.
• Review contractor proposals, technical submissions and design information.
• Develop value engineering opportunities and technical solutions.
• Participate in surveys, client meetings and design workshops.
• Produce robust pre-contract handover information for delivery teams.
• Support the continued development of technical processes and procedures within the business.
